July 24, 2026Stellar Rot is an atmospheric black metal duo who are determined to change the way you perceive the genre - through punishing yet tranquil tracks, which showcase the duality of life itself. The duo was formed in 2025 in Baltimore, Maryland in the United States by two members of US Black Metal band Unendlich, united under the band's motto, All Shall Wither And Fade. "Where the Formless Ones Dwell" involves a five-track descent through the faces of cosmic corruption and draws inspiration from the Grimdark Universe - a sea of blood and the drums of endless war, the maggot-bliss of rot and filth, an insatiable thirst and lust that corrupts all, the scheming architect behind a mask of a thousand faces, and anarchy in its purest form. The album hosts vast choral and keyboard atmospherics over a cold black-metal spine. Ornate, blasphemous, and unrepentant - this is Stellar Rot.
